For Students

Erasmus Program

Have you ever wanted to live abroad and experience a foreign culture, meet new people and learn a foreign language? Have you ever thought about enriching the period of your studies and having better chances for an interesting job in the future? The ERASMUS Program is a perfect choice for you!

The ERASMUS program is a European Union founded program which offers the possibility to students of studying abroad in another European country for a period of between 3 and 12 months.

The program is open to the 27 Member States of the European Union, the three EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and to Turkey (as candidate country).

Every student receives a grant which covers part of the costs of the stay abroad and you will not pay any university fees. All these rights, as well as you obligations are described in the Erasmus Students Charter. All your courses that you will take abroad, should receive a full recognition from your home university.

In addition, you can improve your language skills by participating in one of the Erasmus Intensive Language Courses offered at the host university.

More detailed information is available at European Commission website.

If you are interested in participating in Erasmus, just contact the international relations office of your home university and ask about ERASMUS Program. Also ESN sections can provide you will relevant information about their universities.
